Astrological Association: Mars in Gemini
Description of the Illustration: We are looking at two neighboring houses at night on October 31st. One house is decorated for Samhein, the other for Halloween. The Halloween house has the planet Mars etched upon its door, while the Samhein house has the boy and girl from the Lovers card peeking out its window. The goddess Hecate stands at the crossroads as a fence made of nine swords divides the two houses, and the woman of each house stands on her side of the fence, arguing with the other. A purple sphere (Yesod) peeks over the bottom center edge of the card.
