XVI - The Tower...
The Destroyer
Description of the Illustration:A tall, ominous tower looms like a perfect phallus against a dark landscape. The bright light of inner enlightenment explodes as the huge, flaming planet Mars strikes the tower, cutting it in half and releasing five magnificent lightening bolts of transformation. Five kings are thrown from the igniting tower, two fall downwards and two sail outwards, while one flies upwards. Where Mars strikes the Tower it is covered in scorch marks and ashes, and it bleeds deep red blood. Out of Mars' destruction of the man-made apparancy of the Tower rises the fiery falcon-headed Phoenix, a bird lovely and new in its natural perfection. The upper left sphere is black (Binah) while the lower right sphere is red (Geburah).
